Description
The premier steak cut. All you need to know is that the filet is the most tender steak you can get and this one is cut super thick so it stands up and says “Hellooooo” on your plate. We've had reports from customers that this steak has also worked magic on potential girlfriends.
SERVING SUGGESTION
All you need is a sprinkle of salt and pepper on both sides of the steak. Rub it in with your fingers and let the meat rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
You can cook the Filet Mignon with olive oil in a skillet and then throw it in your oven for some extra juiciness.
As for the time, shortly sear the raw steak in a pan on each side to create a nice crust on the outside. As the meat continues to simmer inside, you can wrap it in aluminum foil, put it in your pre-heated oven and let it cook at about 180 degrees Celsius. Depending on your device and preferred doneness, cooking times may differ so you may consider using a meat thermometer for perfect results.
We would always recommend medium rare for our beef products! It just tastes best like that, without a doubt.
After removing the Fillet from your oven, you should let it rest for a few minutes before serving - done!
IN DEPTH
Our recommended selection for people who are looking for grass-fed beef and grass-fed steaks and grass-fed grass. High red meat to fat ratio, less total fat, more heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, more antioxidant vitamins, such as vitamin E.
Thawing
The thawing time depends on many factors such as size, weight, packaging, and type of meat. Please refer to our thawing chart ≫here≪

I will be buying more of this again soon!デイビッド2024/10/10Gender: MaleAge: 50 - 59The pairing of this meat with homemade compound butter is just out of this world!

A little gamey this time but still worth the priceMikeM2024/09/26Gender: MaleAge: Over 60Perhaps it was the way I cooked these. Grass fed beef can be a little gamey if you don't cook it just right. I've had these fillets before and they were scrumptious. This time I cooked one rare and one was a little too well done. Usually the gamey flavor doesn't come out in a rare steak but this time it did. The slightly over cooked one did not exhibit the gaminess. So I had varying results on these but still I think they are great quality for the price.

tender and delicious!Aizu20202024/08/21Gender: MaleAge: 50 - 59Great beefy taste. Very tender too!

Mouth-Watering Delights!!Tony2024/08/11Gender: MaleAbsolutely delectable! I served these up medium rare to the family with the choice of mushroom gravy, pepper sauce or Diane sauce. Served with mashed potato and veggies. They loved them! Next time I purchase them I will serve them up in Beef Wellingtons.

Simple to prepare and cook.Carny2024/08/07Gender: MaleThaw then rub with salt, peper, and optional garlic. Marinate for 30 minutes then sear in Olive oil (I use a gas torch on the sides). Wrap individually in foil or oven paper then place in a preheated oven of 180. 8 minutes gives a prefect medium rare, then let rest for about 15 minutes. the result is a steak juicy and tender to be savored slowly.
Works well with simple sides, a green salad and potato fry wedges transport you to Paris for the perfect steak frites. -
Oh, so, good!デイビッド2024/06/11Gender: MaleAge: 50 - 59I will order this again!
I recommend that others give it a try as well! -
Filet Mignon never disappoints!デイビッド2024/06/11Gender: MaleAge: 50 - 59A tender lean meat with a wonderful flavor.
Before TheMeatGuy, I never understood what was supposed to be so special about it.
But now that I know how to prepare it, I understand!
Thanks! -
Can't be beatCaintuck2024/06/10Age: Over 60I cut one of these in half because my wife likes hers almost medium and I like mine rare to medium rare. The halves cooked up very nicely in a cast iron skillet, and we were both totally satisfied. Fantastic cut of meat! I'm glad I have four more of these in the freezer.

Tenderfiso2024/06/02Gender: 男性The meat is great to grill with a little amount of coconut oil or butter, it is boneless, has almost no fat on it, and is deliciously tender at eating.

BEST EVERTakoElvis2024/05/24These cuts have no fat and yet are the most tender cuts of meat husband and I have ever eaten. For those who love red meat but are watching their LDL, these is the cut for us.

Best Steak I've ever MadeSwiss Frank2024/05/08Gender: MaleAge: 50 - 591) defrost, then dry off meat, and cover with 1% of meat's weight in salt (mine was 260g so 2.6g salt). Set on plate uncovered for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
2) sous vide 2-3 hours at 53C. I use the Anova Nano but it shouldn't matter.
3) dry off again, COMPLETELY, and deep fry in lard at 190C for about 50 seconds, until brown color is perfect.
Even without pepper, garlic, etc., it really tastes great, in addition to the famous tenderness. I've had the same cut at nice restaurants (e.g. Zuma) with practically no taste, so kudos to Meat Guy for sourcing some beef for us with intrinsic flavor.

Excellent larger-size tender fillet steakMike2024/05/08Gender: MaleThe 180g and 250g filet mignon are both nice thick-cut steaks. 250g makes a good meal for two in my opinion although it depends on your appetite. This over half-pound steak is a bit too large for just me these days. Quality is excellent, the only problem is price (a few times a year it's on sale and becomes better value). Recommended accompaniment : pepper sauce, served with roast potatoes and veg. We have them for special occasions (birthdays, etc.)

So Tender and Full of FlavorProfessor Outlaw2023/12/30Gender: MaleAge: Over 60I was worried that this filet would not cook evenly because it is a thick cut, but I browned it in a skillet first and then cooked it in the oven for about 30 minutes. It came out perfectly and was so tender. I highly recommend this filet mignon.

A tender steak but a bit overwhelmingAzabu Onna2023/01/27If you are inviting people who are not regularly big meat eaters, this will either convert them because it is so delicious or scare them. Often some is left on the plate. So plan this for people you know to be big meat eaters.
