We recommend this one to anyone who loves curry. By topping various vegetables such as pumpkins, lotus roots and deep-fried burdock, you can easily make a soup curry that’ll remind you of that little curry restaurant up the block!

<Ingredients>(For 4 People)

・4 chicken legs
・1 onion
・1 can of tomato
・600ml of water
・2 garlic cloves
・1 bowl of ginger
・Cumin Seed, Garam Masala, 1 teaspoon each
・2 tablespoons curry powder
・1 tablespoon consommé
・2 tsp soy sauce
・1 teaspoon of honey
・2 tablespoons of olive oil

<Topping>

Carrot, green pepper, paprika, pumpkin, lotus root, burdock, etc.

<How to Make!>

1.For the chicken legs, poke a few holes in the surface of the meat with a fork and sprinkle salt and pepper. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes.

2. Heat olive oil in a pan and begin to cook each side until the chicken begins to take on color.

3. After you’ve removed chicken from the heat, add finely chopped garlic, ginger and cumin seeds and fry over low heat. Once you can smell the magic, add chopped onions and up the heat to medium.

4. Add garam masala and curry powder to the chicken and fry for one minute. Taking the chicken and remaining ingredients to the pot again and simmer for 20 minutes to an hour.

Season with salt and pepper and the soup is complete!

5. Fry the vegetables in a pan with a small amount of oil or you may grill them. Pour the soup curry into a bowl and finish it off with your veggies!

Curry can be spicy so be careful on which curry powder you decide to go with. Any curry powder will work for this recipe, hot, spicy, and even sweet.

You read that name correctly. With chicken thighs, your favorite veggies, and dried fruits, this is definitely a creative dish. It is more efficient to cook in the oven however; you can use a stove as well.

<Ingredients>(For 4-5 People)

・Two chicken thighs
・A little salt pepper

<Stuffing>

・Raw shiitake (medium) 6-8
・4 dry figs (soft type)
・1/2 carrot
・ 1/2 tbsp butter
・ Cooking String

<How to Make!>

1. Melt butter in a frying pan and slice the umbrella of your mushrooms in toss them in as well. You’ll want to cut the heat once the mushrooms become soft. Cut dry figs into 1-square pieces and carrots into slices and match with shiitake mushrooms.

2. Cut open the thicken thighs with a sharp knife and try to make it as uniform as possible. You can also prevent shrinkage by making a few holes with a fork in the meat.

3. Spread the chicken thighs over wrap, and add the veggies we described in step one just like the image below. Be sure to place them in the most center of the chicken meat to prevent them from spilling out when you roll.

4. Use the wrap to help roll the piece together and the cooking thread to hold it together. It’s kind of like making sushi only on a large scale with chicken thighs as a substitute to sashimi!

5. Plate the results and apply salt and pepper. From there preheat your oven to 190 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.

After baking, wrap the surface with aluminum foil and let it sit for about 20 minutes.

6. Cut into sizes that are easy to eat and you’re done!

For those who aren’t a big fan of mushrooms, you can switch these out with a vegetable of your choosing!

This is a simple dish in which a large gratin dish is served with roasted chicken with vegetables. The vegetables are cut into easy to eat sizes. Just by adding herbs to the finish, this dish is bound to light up the atmosphere.

<Ingredients>(For 4-5 People)

・Drumsticks: 500g (around 10)
・★ 2 tablespoons soy sauce
・★ 2 tablespoons Mirin
・★ 1 teaspoon of sugar
・★ Garlic 1 piece
・A little salt pepper (even herb salt and garlic salt)

If you want to add hard vegetables such as potatoes, pumpkins, carrots, etc., steam them in advance before putting them in the oven.

<How to Make!>

1. Poke about 10 holes with a fork so that the flavor can easily penetrate the drumsticks.

2. Grate your garlic and place your drumsticks along with the other ingredients in a plastic bag. Keep the bag open and let them rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.

3. Cut the vegetables into pieces that are easy to eat.

4. Remove the meat from the bag and place your vegetables and chicken on a large baking dish. Salt and pepper the entire dish and bake for 30 minutes after preheating your oven to 190 degrees.

5. After about 10 minutes have passed 10 apply a bit of the dipping sauce with a brush. This’ll make the meat shiner and juicy.

6. You can use bamboo skewers to your liking for the vegetables. You can also add rosemary branches for that Christmas theme!
