Bought this beautiful piece of beef on sale on the February 29 Meat Day. We haven't eaten it yet as we're saving it for our first Spring barbecue. But we know it'll be a succulent treat as we've already enjoyed smaller delicious Meat Guy ribeye cuts. I was so happy to see this cut on sale! My in-laws are in for a real treat.

Absolutely love this steak from The Meat Guy! Over 450g of pure heaven! Wether it is a midweek or Sunday roast there is NEVER any left! Very tender, not fatty. I serve it up with a full compliment of veggies and homemade gravy everyone is happy!

Feed the family and you might still have some left over for a sandwich.

Doing reverse searing in my oven at 100 degrees celcius with a probe thermometer!
When the temp reaches 35 degrees at the center, I pan fry it with oil, butter and rosemary and baste it. 2 minutes on each sides (max temp) and you got a perfect medium rare juicy steak.
New Zealand beef rocks, period.
Absolutely delicious.

I have purchased this item many times and my family and I are never disappointed. Goes well with onions,gravy mashed potatoes and all the greens.
