But, when I got some of this shipped with a large order of steaks, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. This rub is perfect. I wish there was a lid to help shake it evenly, but other than that....this is a very good rub. I find it works better when I rubbed it in 30 minutes prior to cooking allowing the meat to come to room temperature and the salt to soak in. Strip steaks and ribeyes are better with this spice.
