Everyone likes pork chops and apple sauce. Here comes another wonderful original creation of The Meat Guy: The Pork Chops n' Apple Sauce Sausage! Some say it tastes a little bit like sweet Christmas and rumor has it brings back nostalgic Christmas memories.
We use fresh pork legs, mix them with spices, sweet applesauce and add chunks of pork ham. One sausage weighs enormous 130g. This pack contains 3 sausages with a total weight of approx. 390g.
Due to their big size, it is advisable to boil them first for a few minutes and finish them on the grill or in a frying pan. There is no need to add fat or oil as the sausages already contain fat.
Of course, you could also make some sweet and juicy hot dogs with these. Check the related items below for buns and our original BBQ sauce. You won't be disappointed!
Because size does make a difference! Our sausages are handmade and our biggest sausages weigh 150g each. The commonly available "sausage" in almost all Japanese supermarkets are nothing more than a small-bite snack. Our sausage packs contain 5 sausages (500g), some 7 (450g) or 9 (270g) sausages, depending on the type.
Fresher than our sausages is impossible unless you start stuffing living cows and pigs into casings.
Our sausages are processed from the beginning. We take fresh (never frozen) meat, grind it, add natural fresh spices and stuff it into either pork or lamb casings, vacuum pack and freeze them immediately. They are neither pre-cooked nor prepared in any way and we don't add any additives or artificial preservatives to any of the items we produce! Once you go fresh raw meat sausages you will never go back.
The thawing time depends on many factors such as size, weight, packaging and type of meat. Please refer to our thawing chart ≫here≪
