Juicy pork
Cut into decent size pork chops, score the fat in a criss-cross pattern, then fry fat cap first. Makes for a very tender, very juicy pork chop dinner.

I’m from Iowa and this pork loin brought me back to Sunday dinners at home. I cooked it up whole in a slow cooker as a “roast” with just some salt, pepper, and some pork spice an aunt gifted me. Turned out very tender. My husband did add yakiniku sauce but my kids and I ate it as is. It’s so great to have a “taste of home” in rural Japan.

I buy this block every now and again to cut into strips or else the whole to make a roast. A fantastic peat of meat.
