I pretty much keep this on hand all year round. It thaws pretty quickly (if I don't plan well and take it out the night before I plan to use it, I just need to thaw it in cool water, changing the water out every 15-20 minutes and in an hour or less the sausage is ready to go). This is one of the few meats I get here that I prefer to anything I can find back home. I brown it in a skillet and use for lasagna, for a Tuscan soup, for breakfast burritos. Really, for anything that calls for a delicious Italian sausage. And I am never disappointed! Highly recommend!
