We have normally bought ribeye steaks from Costco, which I believe come from grain-fed cattle. The steaks have that buttery tenderness that a lot of people like. However, in this household, the verdict has been that the taste is nothing to write home about.

On the other hand, these Meat Guy ribeyes have that deep beef taste that we love. We also like their slight chewiness, which should not be confused with toughness. We like to chew our meat; it brings out the flavor.

Excellent value, love the individual packaging. To stretch it out I pinwheeled the eye of the rib-eye and served those smaller treats to the kids, who loved having their own separate steaks. Meatguy is a good guy!

We love that these are individually vacuum packed and frozen. They grill up a treat on the lotus grill. Not expensive either.

I love these steaks. They come individually wrapped so you do not have to open them until you are ready. They are frozen properly, this means there is no damage to the structure or texture of the steak - when thawed, they retain all of their juices. I have cooked them on the stove top and on the grill. Either way, they cook up very nice indeed and worth every yen.
