When season is gone, frozen are fine. These were huge though.

You can smell these strawberries even before you open the bag. They are big and the red color goes almost all the way through the fruit - unlike most supermarket strawberries, where the red color is only on the outside of the fruit. The color is where the nutrients are concentrated. These strawberries are big! I use 4 strawberries in most of my fruit smoothies. They could also be crushed and mixed with mashed banana and frozen in ice cube trays with picks for a nutritious snack. Just put plastic wrap over the ice cube tray top to hold the toothpicks in place until frozen.
