BIG HIT! SAUSAGE COMBO (2 FLAVORS SET)
DESCRIPTION
The Meat Guy offers original fresh sausages made in our own factory. This sausage combo, which is always ranked first or second among the more than 10 flavors of sausages, is available as a slightly more affordable set than the regular price.
SPICY and ENGLISH! Now, you don't have to choose one over the other! We'll explain them in detail later, but if you were to ask me which one I prefer, I wouldn't be able to choose right away, as each has a unique and addictive flavor. And what's great about both sausages is that they're both very filling.
We are particular about the ingredients used in our spices and choose seasonings that are gentle on the body.
The sausages at Meat Guy are different from the small sausages typically found in Japan and are more like the main dish than a supporting role. It'll be hard to go back to those puny Japanese sausages once you get a taste of the real stuff!.
▼Detailed introduction to sausages
① Spicy Sausage Cayenne pepper and natural chili powder bring out the juiciness of the pork, creating a subtle spiciness amidst the delicious flavor. This sausage looks reddish and at first glance looks very spicy, but it's not that spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food can enjoy it! You'll become addicted to the juicy pork and slightly spicy flavor.
② English Sausage This sausage recreates the traditional British taste. The juicy pork is complemented by a subtle herbal flavor. The pleasant aroma of herbs lingers, making it a flavor you'll want to eat again and again. This seasoning is a favorite among Brits, Welsh, Aussies, Europeans, and people outside of Europe. It is also served in English pubs.
SERVING SUGGESTION
▼Recommended way to eat fresh sausages
The Meat Guy Says... Keep it simple! Bake or fry it as is. You don't even need to use oil! This way, you can enjoy the original flavors, just as we made 'em. Fry until the casing puffs up and enjoy while it's warm. They're ready to eat when the soft casing is fully expanded. These sausages are on the thicker side, so it'll take a bit longer than usual to cook. Don't worry! It'll all be worth it once you sink your teeth into these delicious sausages! The juices from the meat when you poke them with a fork are irresistible. Cook them directly in a frying pan or on the grill! This allows you to enjoy the original flavor of the sausage. They're ready to eat when the soft casing is fully expanded. They're thicker than regular sausages, so they take a little longer to cook, but the wait is worth it! The juices from the meat when you poke them with a fork are irresistible.
▼Sausages for a BBQ?
Although they may not be familiar to Japanese people, raw sausages are a standard BBQ menu item. Many of The Meat Guy's customers always bring raw sausages with them to their BBQs. These babies are great grilled on the BBQ! Stick 'em in a hotdog bun and add your own toppings, or drizzle with our original BBQ sauce!
▼Also recommended for breakfast Sausages are an essential part of a British breakfast. A full breakfast is made by placing scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, mashed potatoes and sausages on one plate. You'll really get the British feeling.

IN DEPTH
Because size does make a difference! Our sausages are handmade, and our biggest sausages weigh 100g each. The commonly available "sausages" in almost all Japanese supermarkets are nothing more than a small-bite snack. Our sausage packs contain 5 sausages (400g), some 7 (385g) or 8 (240g) sausages depending on the type.
Fresher than our sausages is impossible unless you start stuffing living cows and pigs into casings. Our sausages are processed from the beginning. We take fresh (never frozen) meat, grind it, add natural fresh spices and stuff it into either pork or lamb casings, vacuum pack them and freeze them immediately. As those sausages are not heated, please make sure to cook them thoroughly just before eating. But that is very easy and worth it. It is important to heat them only once because heating them twice increases the amount of oxidized oil, which reduces the flavor. Fresh sausages are heated only once, just before eating, so they are less oxidized and fresher. Once you go to our fresh sausages you will never go back. All the spices we add are 100% natural spices only and most spices are even ground at our processing plant just shortly before we produce our sausages which adds extra freshness. Please make sure to cook these immediately after thawing. The only way to preserve our sausages up to a whole year is by keeping them frozen.
We mix the minced meat with several spices and use 100% pork intestines and natural pork casings. It's safe and tastes absolutely different! Because we don't use any preservatives, you might find the flavor a little strong.
Thawing
The thawing time depends on many factors such as size, weight, packaging, and type of meat. Please refer to our thawing chart.
