Beef Brisket 800g + Original Brisket Spice

DESCRIPTION

Brisket is a bit tough if you eat it as a steak, but if you cook it slowly, it will be very soft and delicious!
We combined 800g Block Meat and The Meat Guy's Original Brisket Spice into one set.
Cook it whole and add our Original Brisket Spice, then you will have delicious brisket.
Spread BBQ sauce if you like. Best for BBQ or Sunday Roast!

Brisket: a cut from the breast or lower chest of beef.

※Since it is a huge block of meat, it could look different from the picture.
※It does NOT come with BBQ sauce. We have our Original BBQ Sauces (Hot/Mild).

・For BBQ. Roast it whole slowly.
・For Reuben Sandwich with toasted rye bread and cheese.
・For Beef stew

RECIPE

Beef Brisket: 800g

Original Brisket Spice: 45g

Original BBQ Sauce: about 120g 1/3 of a bottle

Consomme: 2 cubes

Hot Water: 500ml or more

How to Cook

・Spread oil on Beef Brisket evenly. Add and rub Original Brisket Spice thoroughly.

・Dutch Oven, Skillet, and Oven work. (Frying pan or pot also works) ※This time, we use a Dutch oven.

・Fry it evenly until golden-brown. (Medium to High Heat)

・Once all sides are golden-brown, add half of water with consomme. Change to the Lowest-heat then put lid on.

・After 30min. check inside. Add more water if needed in order to keep the water level at 1/3 to half of meat.

・Every 30min. check inside. Keep cooking for 2hrs. ※When it reaches 1hr. flip meat up-side down.

・Check the texture of meat and keep cooking.

・After 2hrs. and 30min. if it is tender enough, add Original BBQ Sauce. (Cook for at least 2hrs. and 30min. to 3hrs.) Stir and mix remained water, fat-juice, and BBQ Sauce thoroughly in pot.
※Make sure water is not dried up then.

・Keep cooking on Lowest-heat, then coat meat with sauce evenly. DONE!
Meat is so tender and delicious after taking long to cook!

The thawing time depends on many factors such as size, weight, packaging and the type of meat.
