The Meat Guy unTraditional Boerewors (400g)
Product Description
If you've never tried this South African style sausage you are missing out on a treat. This is a beef and pork sausage with a hint of coriander and cloves. We've put our own little touches to this coiled sausage, the most obvious being that this is a much thinner sausage than the original but we found this makes it a lot easier to cook.
Fresher than our sausages is impossible unless you start stuffing living cows and pigs into casings. Our sausages are processed from the beginning. We take fresh (never frozen) meat, grind it, add natural fresh spices and stuff it into either pork or lamb casings, vacuum pack them and freeze them immediately. Our sausages are neither pre-cooked nor prepared in any way and we don't add any additives or artificial preservatives to any of our items we produce! Hence, you need to cook the sausages before eating - but that is very easy and absolutely worth it. Once you go fresh raw meat sausages you will never go back.
How to eat
BBQ, pot-au-feu, tajine pot, sausage champla, pasta with steamed vegetables and raw sausage, raw sausage stewed in sauerkraut, feijoada, budejjigae, raw sausage salad, risotto, gratin, pizza, sausage soup, sausage pie, tortilla rolls with vegetables and raw sausage, etc.
▼The recommended way to eat raw sausages is to fry them in a frying pan or on the grill! You can enjoy the original taste of the sausage. The soft casing When it's full, it's time to eat. It's thicker than regular sausages, so it takes a little longer to cook, but it's worth the wait! The juices that come out when you poke it with your tongue are irresistible.
We've created a guide on how to grill sausages. Check it out in the link below!

▼Size
The Meat Guy's original handmade raw sausage (salsiccia). Each one is 400g in size. It's so voluminous that just one will fill you up. An irresistible delicacy for meat lovers.
▼ Freshness The word "fresh" in raw sausage means that it has never been heated. Most commercially available sausages are heated once during processing. Heating them twice increases the amount of oxidized oil, which reduces the flavor. Raw sausages are heated only once, just before eating, so they are less oxidized and fresh. Please make sure to cook them thoroughly before eating.
