The Meat Guy Original REAL WOOD SMOKED Bacon arrived! We made with a Canadian guy who founded Mr. Bacon, a hand-made bacon shop in Nagoya, Aichi. We customized it to be more American taste!
This one is Sliced Bacon, which is easy to cook. You can enjoy the flavor fully from this 1.5mm thin sliced bacon. This bacon is made slowly and carefully with "Dry-curing method", which takes a lot of time and effort. They blended different smoke woods. You will love the smoky flavor from those woods.
And, being made with their original method that they put their so much "kodawari", it doesn't shrink easily when cooked, and it's very juicy. It's full of awesome flavor of pork, harmonizing with smoke aroma.

We want you to enjoy the bacon itself first. We recommend just grilling these slices by itself.

Who is Mr. Bacon?

The founder of the company moved to Japan from Canada and has been looking for North American style bacon for about 20 years. Thick, deep-smoked, and minimally salted bacon was difficult to find in Japan. This is because salty bacon is the mainstream here. He wanted some REAL bacon like the one he used to have back home, one that was delicious on its own and could go with any dish and add extra flavor.
Since he had children, he wanted to find an option that is safe to eat even for kids. Bacon production often uses a lot of chemical seasonings and food additives, this is why a lot of families refrain from buying processed food. Mr. Bacon wanted to make bacon that makes everyone smile.
Years of trial and error have finally resulted in a one-of-a-kind bacon that's juicy and doesn't shrink when cooked. He started making the bacon for his family, but his friends also loved it!
So... He launched his company, and is now delivering delicious bacon to everyone!
