DESCRIPTION

Tender ostrich gently seasoned and cut into cubes perfect for making skewers. Ostrich is a great meat that has the flavor and texture of beef without the fat. Ostrich meat doesn't taste like chicken or turkey, its meat is red, has no strong odor and tastes similar to beef. These cubes are made from steak quality rump and are really tender. Ostrich is known to have one of the best combinations of healthy eating and great taste.
Lower in calories and cholesterol than beef, high in iron and protein, the only bad thing I can say about ostriches is that they can't fly. If you've never tried Ostrich, you're missing out! This is really, really good! We cut this meat into cubes and they come with 10 long bamboo sticks so you can make skewers, kebabs, kabobs, whatever you call them, with a mix of vegetables if you like. These cubes are seasoned, vacuum packed and then frozen immediately.

SERVING SUGGESTION

Make your own skewers with vegetables and throw them on the grill or in the frying pan for a few minutes. Since ostrich meat is so lean, you need to be careful not to overcook it. Also as it's lean there won't be any shrinkage during cooking and you'll have more meat to enjoy! We recommend medium or medium-rare.
All you have to do is thaw and throw on the grill.
