“SWAN & LION” in Nakameguro is a modern British pub where traditional and contemporary styles blend seamlessly,
letting you casually enjoy the latest in British dining.
You can savor Fish & Chips and meat pies alongside craft beer and tea.
The high ceilings, stone counter, and dark wood create a classic-meets-modern atmosphere that feels like you’ve stepped straight into the UK. Many overseas guests visit, and the sound of English conversations leaves an impression. It truly feels like time flows as if you’re “on a journey.”
British staples with a “now” flavor
The signature standout is Fish & Chips. The whitefish from Hokkaido is wrapped in a fluffy beer batter that fries up light, and the house tartar sauce neatly shapes the flavor.
Its crispiness makes it a dish you’ll want to grab it by hand and eat it from hand.
The handmade meat pies are formed using equipment imported from the UK, letting you enjoy the freshly baked aroma and the umami of sealed-in meat juices directly.
To pair with the food, a carefully curated selection of craft beer, wine, spirits, and quintessentially British cider is available.
Enjoy them together to heighten your UK mood all at once.
For dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding features a rich caramel sauce in perfect harmony.British teas like Brew Tea and
Yorkshire Tea pair wonderfully.

After the first anniversary, weekday lunch course launched
“We want you to experience British cuisine more closely.” With that wish from owner Ian, a weekday-only lunch course has started. The appeal is being able to choose and enjoy representative British dishes.
How about experiencing a gentle flow of time and a small travel feeling while savoring delicious British cuisine in SWAN & LION’s wonderful space?
On weekday lunches, quintessential British menu items such as “English Sausage and Mashed Potatoes” are also offered.
The English sausages used are chosen for their commitment to authentic flavor. The balance of spices and portion size is exquisite, quietly elevating overall satisfaction with the dish.
