Description
Very popular in Japanese Yaki Niku restaurants. beef tongue cut into thick slices and then tenderized. Don't let the cut of meat scare you. It's very tender meat. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Each pack is about 300g. That is about 5-6 slices. Please note that the thickness of the slices can vary.
Serving Suggestion
The beef tongue slices are best served for Yaki Niku and sliced up before serving. All you need is a sprinkle of our sea salt which you can find in the related items section below.
Besides on your electric grill at the next Yaki Niku Party, these guys also do great slow-cooked with onion, garlic and bay leaf.
Cover with water and cook low for at least 8 hours. After that, heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat and stir beef tongue until tender. (5 to 10 minutes should do!)
Season with salt and pepper. Et voilà!
Thawing
The thawing time depends on many factors such as size, weight, packaging, and type of meat. Please refer to our thawing chart ≫here≪
