First time shopping at The Meat Guy and don't know which sausage is the best? Or you want to convert your vegetarian friend and looking for a slow, non-traumatizing introduction? This is the trial set we recommend. It includes 5 of the very popular all natural beef/pork sausages (no sugar, gluten free, grass fed beef) + 5 fresh frozen hot dog buns and our original BBQ Sauce that is all made in Japan.
This set comes free shipping so there is nothing else you need to worry about, no matter how many other frozen items you buy - the whole shipment will be free.
What you get:
Smokey Beef / Pork Sausage (5PC, 500g):
A 50% beef and 50% pork smokey beef sausage. You get juicy sausages with a fantastic smokey bbq aroma that makes you go "mhhhhh...nice" once you open the pack. One sausage is 100g.
The Meat Guy Original Barbeque Sauce (S-size, 370g):
Thick, Hot, and Smokin’ BBQ Sauce. Maybe the best American BBQ sauce you will ever have and it’s only available in Japan. This is our own recipe and you will love it!
Hot Dog Buns (5PC):
Just like at the ballpark. You will need these to make the perfect hot dogs! Each pack has 5 buns.
This method is only useful if you want to serve all 5 sausages at once: Bring a pot of water to boiling point. Lower the heat to minimum and place the unopened and frozen sausage pack in the water for approx. 15 min. It is necessary to keep the water temperature over 90 degrees Celcius (almost boiling). Once the 15 min. have passed, open the packaging a little bit and let the juices run out into the sink. Be careful it's hot! Right after fry-pan for a few minutes to make the outside skin crispy and brown.
After cooking, just put them in the buns and splash some BBQ sauce. You could also add your favorite hot dog toppings, for example, roasted onions, lettuce, and mustard.
The thawing time depends on many factors such as size, weight, packaging, and type of meat. Please refer to our thawing chart ≫here≪
