DESCRIPTION
The premier steak cut. All you need to know is that the filet is the most tender steak you can get and this one is cut super thick so it stands up and says “Hellooooo” on your plate.
Perfect for smaller appetites, ladies, and kids.
If you have a bigger appetite, you might also check out our 250g Filet Mignon!
SERVING SUGGESTION
All you need is a sprinkle of salt and pepper on both sides of the steak. Rub it in with your fingers and let the meat rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
You can cook the Filet Mignon with olive oil in a skillet and then throw it in your oven for some extra juiciness.
As for the time, shortly sear the raw steak in a pan on each side to create a nice crust on the outside. As the meat continues to simmer inside, you can wrap it in aluminum foil, put it in your pre-heated oven and let it cook at about 180 degrees Celsius. Depending on your device and preferred doneness, cooking times may differ so you may consider using a meat thermometer for perfect results.
We would always recommend medium rare for our beef products! It just tastes best like that, without a doubt.
After removing the Fillet from your oven, you should let it rest for a few minutes before serving - done!
IN DEPTH
Our recommended selection for people who are looking for grass-fed beef and grass-fed steaks and grass-fed grass. High red meat to fat ratio, less total fat, more heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, more antioxidant vitamins, such as vitamin E.
Thawing
The thawing time depends on many factors such as size, weight, packaging, and type of meat. Please refer to our thawing chart ≫here≪

A real treat!Reformed vegan2024/09/16Gender: MaleAge: Over 60This was the most tender cut of meat that I've had in a long time. Flavourful and well worth the price. Highly recommended.

Good quality, soft fillet steakMike2024/05/08Gender: MaleThe 180g and 250g filet mignon are both nice thick-cut steaks. 180g makes a good meal for one or a slightly smaller meal for two although it depends on your appetite. Quality is excellent, the only problem is price (a few times a year it's on sale and becomes better value). Recommended accompaniment : pepper sauce, with roast potatoes and veg. We have them for special occasions (birthdays, etc.)

Filet Mig-awesome!Kellylingus2024/03/21Gender: MaleAge: 40 - 49As you can see from the picture, it looks great.
Soft and flavorful!
Nice and thick, so I could get a nice crust and keep the inside 90% pink.
Awesome meal! -
Filet Mignon!! Very nice.Kellylingus2024/02/21Gender: MaleI made this after letting the filet mignon defrost in the fridge, uncovered on a wire rack, for a few days so we could get a bit of a dry aging effect. Ended up doing the cold sear Pam method of cooking, flipping every couple of minutes, and using a meat thermometer, taking it out about 7° lower than the medium rare setting. Because of the thickness of these, and the tenderness, these things came out so fantastic! Highly recommended! I just wish I took a picture of it to make you all jealous.

Small but adequateKarl2024/01/19Got these steaks on sale and it was a great buy. Although the cut was a bit small for me it was very tender and delicious and satisfying. Hopefully there’ll be a sale on the bigger cuts soon! Very highly recommended.

Tender and delicious!Philosophicalcat2024/01/18Gender: FemaleI sprinkled steak spice on all sides, seared this steak in coconut oil in my InstantPot, and then pressure-cooked it with a little water added for about 2 minutes. Pressure-cooking is not recommended for steaks but this steak turned out perfectly. I will definitely order this steak again!

Surpisinly tenderDid not know how yummy filets are2023/09/11I always gravitate to the steaks with some fat in them because I thought that made them tender. I was wrong. Filets are soft and wonderful. We cooked them on coals and I fell in love. I will buy them again when they are on sale. Thank you.
