It's paper thin so I defrost it naturally, and then pan fry it in a bit of oil. It does crisp up, which I prefer, but it also shrinks up by about half, which makes it even more expensive. At 50 grams of finished product, it's a hard sell for anyone.

Having lived here for decades and looked for bacon worth the name, now I’ve found it. The only thing is the price of a few rashers… I’ll never give up hope and will continue searching, but the likelihood of reaching this level is probably zero!

比較するとスモークのフレーバーも軽い、
誰もが食べやすいベーコンだと思います。
スモークベーコンスライスと比較して、
厚さは半分ぐらいでしょうか。
薄い分、写真だとわかりにくいですが
パッケージの中は2段になっていて。枚数が多いです。
薄い分、焼くとちりちりになりますが、ちゃんとカリカリになりました。
値段も重量も近い2種類のスライスベーコンですが、
スモークの利いた、噛み応えのあるのと、
ライトでフレーバーになじみのない人でも食べやすいのと、
どっちらもしっかりした本物のベーコンなので
両方試してみるのも良いと思います。
次は、ブロックを厚切りにして、スキレット使って、
ハウルの”あれ”を作ってみるつもりですが、
どっちのベーコンを使おうか、悩んでいるところです。
