Serving Suggestion

For the best and most enjoyable result take the product out of the carton & pop your unwrapped pie in a preheated oven at about 180°C for 12 - 15min. - Do not reheat!

オーストラリアで幼少期を過ごした身には、まさにこの味がソウルフード！日本で販売されているいろいろなオーストラリアンミートパイを試したもののしっくりこなくて、やっぱりトロトロでスパイシーなこの味に戻ってきます。冷凍庫にないと落ち着かないので、しばらく在庫切れが続いたときは悲しくて。再入荷のお知らせ届いてすぐ注文しました！ミートガイさんが頼りです！

I got this beef pie as part of a surprise box. To tell you the truth, this is the first meat pie I've ever eaten. Back home in America, these just aren't on the menu. I was curious to try it, but not too terribly excited. The pie was delightful. The pastry crust was the best part, really, very flaky and delicious buttery flavor. The beef filling was yummy, almost like a pot roast gravy taste. Had I not tried this just by chance from a surprise box, I probably would have never ordered a pie, but this was very satisfying.

冷蔵庫解凍→オーブントースターで焼くと、
皮に焦げ目がつくぐらいでも、フィリングが
一部冷たいままでした。（私の失敗ですが）
（解凍）、電子レンジ加熱→オーブントースター
がやはり良いように思います。
最後オーブントースターで皮はサクサクになります。

フィリングは、ペースト状の中に
小さい角切りのビーフが入っているもので
割合と水気が多く、ひき肉の食感を想像していたので
少し予想と違いました。

朝食のトースト代わりに一つ食べて見ましたが、
少し重たかったです。一個で十分昼の軽食には
なりそうです。（大食漢を除く）

星３つの理由は、自分の思っていたものと
少し違った。　という個人的な理由です。

今回はおためし3種セットで注文してみました。
オーストラリアで食べている、そのものを
色々試せるのは楽しいです。
