Recommended Christmas Appetizers

Christmas only comes once a year! With new year’s around the corner, you just have to go all out for the holidays. You might have something special up your sleeve planned for the main dish, but your guests will get hungry waiting for it! This is why appetizers are an important piece to your gathering. Nothing is worse than smelling the main dish and no appetizers to keep your stomach from eating itself! Here are three recipes that are not only simple, but stylish!

Christmas Tacos!

Christmas Tacos!

In addition to the taco meat introduced here, you can also switch it up with chicken or roast beef with vegetables, salsa sauce, the works! You really can’t go wrong with tacos, especially during Christmas!
You can make tortillas in your own home, but wouldn’t it be easier to just get them from your friendly neighborhood (MEAT GUY)? Yeah. You get the hint.
For salsa sauce, instead of tomatoes, fruit salsa made with strawberries and mangoes are also recommended.

<Ingredients>For 4 People

Tortilla(8~12)

<Taco Meat Ingredients>

・ Ground beef 300g
・ 1 onion
・1 garlic
・3 tablespoons ketchup
・2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
・Consommé 1 teaspoon
・Nutmeg, black pepper (a pinch)
・1 tbsp olive oil

<Salsa Ingredients>

・ 1 tomato
・2 tbsp chopped red onions for salad
・ Minced garlic
・2 pinches of salt
・A little black pepper
・Tabasco (as much as you’d like)

<Others But Not Necessary>

Shred cheese, avocado, lettuce, etc.

<How to Make>

1. First, we must prepare the taco meat. Add your chopped garlic and olive oil to a frying pan and begin on medium heat. Once the garlic begins to take on some color add the chopped onions and minced beef and lightly stir. As the beef begins to change color, add the remaining ingredients with water as needed to keep the meat from burning.

2. Next, is the salsa! It’s actually quite simple. Take all of your salsa ingredients once you’ve diced your tomatoes and mix them in a bowl.

3. Cut your avocadoes to sizes of your liking. Pro tip: lemon juice also helps keep your green avocadoes from turning brown. You can break the lettuce apart with your hands and quickly shred any whole cheese block that you may have.

4. Serve!

Stylish and Easy on the Stomach

Christmas desserts! For the holiday season and for the new year, why not consider making homemade desserts that are not only delicious and colorful, but good for you! Eating raw fruits contains healthy nutrients and enzymes that help break down meat. Your taste buds will thank you as well.

Pineapple Fruit Boat!

Pineapple Fruit Boat!

Finally make vertical slices of the circular cut in the pineapple slice itself and pick them out with a spoon. Be careful not to cut all the way through the pineapple slices. You can now add your favorite fruits such as strawberries, grapes kiwis, and mangoes.

Kiwi Agar Jelly!

Kiwi Agar Jelly!

Next, add sugar (70g)and pour half into 2 heat resistant containers. Prepare the kiwis by peeling them and grating them into the containers. Be sure to mix thoroughly. Lastly place the solution back in your refrigerator. Tt solidify when cooled for a few hours so remember to take it out after 30 minutes to an hour. Remove the jelly from the container and wiggle it out onto a cutting board to cut finish off the dish by cutting it into squares. Plate and serve!

The atmosphere of any event is of course extremely important. It can even come down to simple things like your choice of a table cloth. Use these recipes to cater to any and every situation you may face with your party guests!
