Adding sauces to your meat dishes can instantly up the flavor of your dish! That’s why we highly recommend The Meat Guy Original BBQ Sauces. Just drizzle some of this onto your meat to make it even more delicious!
If you didn’t know already, BBQ sauce can be used for more than just BBQ meats! You can use up the whole bottle really quickly once you start experimenting with different ways to enjoy this delicious sauce. Here are a couple ways you can incorporate it to your everyday cooking.
The Basics: Using BBQ sauce for barbecues
First, let’s start with the two basic ways to use BBQ sauce.
1.Drizzle the sauce on grilled or fried meats.
2.Use it to marinate or flavor raw meat before cooking.
Simply drizzling this sauce over grilled meats can make the usual yakiniku or steak even more delicious! If you haven’t tried using it to marinate meats yet, now’s the time to start! Try it with beef, pork, chicken… really, any type of meat! For example, you can try marinating some pork ribs in this sauce before grilling. You’ll find that the pork just soaks up that BBQ flavor and becomes soft and tender! Pro tip: the ketchup and vinegar contained in the sauce makes meat softer. It’s best to soak your meat for a good 1-2 days if you have some time to spare. If not, even just 30 minutes can make a difference!
With just these two methods, you might have already used up a full bottle… If you still have some left, we have a bunch of ideas below on how to make meat more delicious using The Meat Guy Original BBQ Sauce! Check it out.
It's All-Purpose! Use it for prepping and flavoring
The Meat Guy Original BBQ Sauce isn’t just for barbecues. You can use this sauce for everyday home cooking too.
We recommended using a good amount of the sauce to marinate meats a while ago, but even just soaking in a bit of sauce can give the meat a nice hint of flavor from the vegetables and spices contained in the BBQ sauce.
How To Use BBQ Sauce
・Spareribs
Soak raw (and thawed) spareribs and use plenty of sauce while cooking. By soaking first, the meat itself becomes tender, and the effect of spices removes the unique meat odor. The finish will be flavorful and fragrant.
・Fried-chicken
Soak in a small amount of BBQ sauce, then batter and fry. If you prefer a richer flavor, drizzle BBQ sauce over the chicken just before eating to level it up!
You can serve the fried chicken with some rice, or sandwich it between some hamburger buns!
You can also use the BBQ sauce as a base for making sauces for loco moco bowls, buffalo wings, pulled pork, simple stir-fried vegetables, and seasoning dishes.
