CRUNCHY AND JUICY! Meat dish recipe made with a hot sandwich maker

Hot sandwich makers are great if you’re looking for a quick change of flavors and textures in your dishes than usual. There are some products that use open flame (great for outdoor BBQs), and some that are electric (great for use at home!) Prices for these products are pretty affordable with some as low as 1,000 yen!

Today, we’ll be introducing easy and simple meat recipes using a hot sandwich maker!

HOW TO USE THE POPULAR HOT SANDWICH MAKER

A hot sandwich maker, as the name suggests, is basically a tool that can help you easily make hot sandwiches. There are two main types of hot sandwich makers. There’s the electric type, which you can sandwich your ingredients in, turn it on, and you’re all good. The other type is the open fire types. This one takes a bit more work… But not a lot, really. You just have to sandwich your ingredients in there, heat one side, then flip it over to heat the other side. The electric ones can be purchased from about 2,000 yen, while the open fire ones can get as cheap as 1,000 yen. The open fire ones also have variations that allow you to cook over an IH stove!

Depending on the manufacturer of the product, the shapes and sizes can vary. The one we’ll be using today is a simple square-shaped one. However, you can find ones with a diagonal partition in the middle of the sandwich (to make it easier to cut), as well as ones that will allow you to mark your sandwiches with characters or logos! Before purchasing, think about whether you just want to make sandwiches or make other dishes on it as well!

EASY HOT SANDWICH MAKER RECIPES

It’s very easy to make different recipes using a hot sandwich maker! Since there are hot iron plates on both the top and bottom, heating can be done quickly and easily without having to flip! We’ll be introducing a couple simple recipes you can use to get the ball rolling on your hot sandwich making journey! From quick snacks, to brunch recipes, you can make ‘em all! Enjoy!
