What does The Meat Guy have that my local grocery store doesn't?

We have a full selection of meats including roasts, lamb, and steaks, T-bones, chops, etc. and if we don't display what you want in our store, give us a call and we'll get it for you.

Finally, there's price! As an importer and wholesaler, we elliminate the middleman passing the savings on to you.

But, isn't it easier just to go to the grocery store rather than wait for the delivery all day?

We think the quality is worth it. However, you can request a delivery time within a 2 hour time frame and we deliver between 10 am and 10 pm giving you lots of flexibility.

Are there any limits on order quantities? Is there a minimum order amount?

You can order as much or as little as you like. There is no minimum order. However, you can increase your savings by ordering in bulk and you also get better mileage out of the flat-rate delivery charge.

Does the delivery charge apply to each item?

No! The delivery charge applies to your order.
Whether you order a single Vili's Meat Pie (¥330) or the whole cow (call), you pay just ¥650 (Honshu or Shikoku). C.O.D. charges may also apply.

Can I place an order now and request a delivery date next month?

Yes, you can order now for delivery as far into the future as you please. If ordering more than a year in advance you might want to confirm when it gets closer to the date.

Is ordering online safe?

With The Meat Guy it is extremely safe. All orders are C.O.D.
You have 3 choices for payment.

1. Cash on Delivery to the driver.
2. Credit card payment to the driver (he has a swiper)
3. or we'll even send you an invoice for bank transfer at your convenience, if you prefer

So you see, we don't take your credit card info through the website.
