The best of the new world olive oils, this is the
winner of the 2007 "Olive Oils of the World" competition in Los
Angeles. It's very fragrant, velvety smooth, you'll want to
drink it! However, it is better if you use as a salad dressing, in
pasta, or as a healthy substitute for butter in lots of dishes.
My absolute favorite way to enjoy good olive oil. Grate a little fresh hard cheese like Parmiggiano Reggiano on top, grind a few black peppercorns, and sop it up with some crusty bread. For a bit more heart-stopping WOW, sprinkle some coarse sea salt on top as well.
*When this product is shipped chilled, and also during the colder months, it will become cloudy. Once it returns to normal room temperature, it will clear back up, this doesn't hurt it at all.
