We hand make these sausages ourselves and are sure you will love them. Our most popular version - Spicy! We use cayenne pepper to give these sausages their kick, they're not painfully hot, but spicy enough to kick in the endorphins. You'll notice below we've gotten a comment from someone saying these are the “best sausages” they've ever eaten ? that's a real comment, we didn't make that up. We hear that a lot about these sausages. This friend of mine Jamie, a fat guy from Canada, he loves these things, he also says they're the best sausages he's ever had. And he's fat so he knows a thing or two about good eatin'!

1 pack contains 5 sausages. Each sausage weights approx. 100g Total weight of +/-500g

Because size does make a difference! Our sausages are handmade and our biggest sausages weigh 150g each. The commonly available "sausage" in almost all Japanese supermarkets are nothing more than a small-bite snack. Our sausage packs contain 5 sausages (500g), some 7 (450g) or 9 (270g) sausages depending on the type. This sausage contains 3 sausages with a total weight of approx. 390g

Fresher than our sausages is impossible, unless you start stuffing living cows and pigs into casings. Our sausages are processed from the beginning. We take fresh (never frozen) meat, grind it, add natural fresh spices and stuff it into either pork or lamb casings, vacuum pack them and freeze them immediately. Our sausages are neither pre-cooked nor prepared in any way and we don't add any additives or artificial preservatives to any of our items we produce! Hence, you need to cook the sausages before eating - but that is very easy and absolutely worth it. Once you go fresh raw meat sausages you will never go back.

We don't add any additives or artificial preservatives to any of our items we produce! All the spices we add are 100% natural spices only and most spices are even ground at our processing plant just shortly before we produce our sausages which adds extra freshness. Because our sausages are additive-free they need to be cooked immediately once you thaw them. The only way to preserve our sausages up to a whole year is by keeping them frozen.

The Meat Guy has been featured on many fairs in Japan. Every year a wide selection of our sausages are displayed at the Mitsukoshi British Fair in Hiroshima:

The best way is to simmer them in very hot water for a couple of minutes. Do not boil them dead! Simmer then gently and then throw on the grill for a couple of minutes for the final finish. The perfect crisp sausage skin and juicy filling. Check out this serving suggestion from one of our customers, it's a simple spicy, good pasta recipe:

You need

1 pack of the The Meat Guy's Spicy Sausages
1 small pack of penne pasta
1 large red onion
1 can crushed tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 large eringi mushroom (doesn't have to be the uber expensive kind)

Preparation
Get a pan warmed up, add about 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Chop onion into nice chunks
Add onions to pan and carmalize

While onions are cooking cut mushroom into chunks and put onto toaster tray.
Salt. Toast until mushroom is softened but not rubbery.

Get the pasta cooking

With onions now carmalized, move all to the outer rim of the pan so center is open (if you want to keep the onions sweet without spice remove from pan). Remove casing from sausages (sorry meat guy). Break up into nice bite size chunks and add to pan with chopped garlic. Brown on all sides. Don't forget to move the onions around so they don't burn.

With sausage now browned add 1 can of crushed tomatoes. (If you've removed the onions add them back in).
Bring to a simmer.

Your pasta should now be about ready. Drain pasta thoroughly. Add pasta and mushrooms to the fry pan. Mix thoroughly. Remove from heat and serve.

For that added flare, add fresh parsley (although most grocers in my area don't carry it so I usually go without)

Enjoy with garlic bread and a beer or nice red wine.

You can thaw the sausages in the fridge overnight. They take approx. 5 hours to thaw. If you are in a hurry you can place the unopened frozen sausages in ice-water and they will be ready in less than an hour.

the shipping makes for some expensive sausages but they were worth it! They have been the object of much envy at recent BBQs.

Just a quick e-mail to say thanks for the meaty good times. I had a BBQ for 10 people last Wednesday, the strip steaks were a site for sore eyes. Your service is great, it couldn't really be much easier or convenient. As good as the steaks were, the spicy bangers were without a doubt the best sausage my friends or I have ever eaten, and we have eaten a lot of sausages. Honestly, they are sensational. Keep up the good work!

I ordered some sausages from you a few days ago on a whim. I was going on a camping with some budies, and decided we reed real cok-out material. of course the hot dogs and polish sausages were a big hit for us, Americans that have ben up in Aomori for the past few years. But then I threw on the bangers. And crowds went wild. I will be ordering more very soon.

Love your spicy sausages!

Sensational snags!!!The MeatGuy's spicy sausages were sensational, packed with cayenne pepper and garlic flavors. All the guys loved them mate. The burger patties were also apparently tasty. We'll definitely be ordering again. Thanks

5 Stars Nicky: 自家製のザウアークラウトとともに頂きました!ボリュームがあるので夕ご飯でも大丈夫!なにも用意していない時にも大助かりです! review
5 Stars These are the best of the bunch, in my books, though a good English sausage comes close. Boil them, grill them, or bake them... Fantastic in every way. review
5 Stars I just ordered from you for the first time and as I am eating these sausages right now, I am back on the site trying to order more! They are that good. I ate mine with just some peppers and onions on a roll, but they are FANTASTIC. Highly recommended review
