Black Forest Farmer's Ham
Exclusively at The Meat Guy, this is a world-famous ham from a world-famous hamery. Natural pork, cured and naturally smoked, concentrated flavor but not too salty, perfectly balanced. If you plan on using this for a holiday meal, you should buy two, even if you don't have any friends, you'll eat one of them on the day it arrives and you'll need another for the actual feast. It will call out to you, "eat me, EAT ME" even when you are trying to sleep, you'll find yourself at the refrigerator making a sammich...

Honey-Baked Ham
Fabulous ham, this is one of the very best holiday hams you can buy in Japan. We had this imported especially for us - you won't find it anywhere else! This is natural pork leg that's been cured with the skin-on, then the skin has been coated with honey and roasted. You can thaw it and enjoy as-is, or for something really special mix up a glaze (I like a little honey, soy-sauce, and orange juice), bake the ham for about 1 - 2 hours, and brush it with glaze every 15 minutes or so. Baby's Got BACK BACON!! Sliced 300gm
A meat guy original, specially designed down in our flavor workshop by real elves!! Some call it back bacon, others Canadian Bacon, others prefer Pea Meal Bacon, although there’s no peas in bacon. Our baby’s Back Bacon is a lean pork loin, cured with sea salt and our own special blend of spices, then rolled in corn meal. Your breakfast plate will thank you. Be one of the first to try!

"Nearly Instant" Corned Beef - uncooked
We take a lean beef brisket, salt cure it for two weeks with our special blend of spices, then freeze it. All you have to do is thaw it, rinse it and then boil for about 3 hours changing the water once. Or smoke it for your own home-made pastrami. This product is free of Sodium Nitrate and artificial preservatives which is why it won't be as pink as store-bought corned beef. You will love it.

Mortadella Slices
Long before "baloney" had a first name, there was Mortadella, one of the greatest lunch meats ever. Finely ground pork, mixed with chunks of cured back fat, cooked and smoked, this makes for some awesome sandwiches. Mortadella is essential for a proper Muffuletta, which is certainly a royal sandwich. It's also great on salads (because you should always put meat on a salad), we've even sliced it thick enough that you can fry it in a pan until it gets crispy and serve it like bacon.

Deli Ham Slices
Thinly sliced ham for those craving the perfect sandwich. This ham comes from Austria and is made by one of Europe's finest makers, it will be really hard to eat other deli-hams once you've gotten a taste for this. Unlike most Japanese hams this is not sweet but rather a mildly-salty, smoky ham. 25 - 35 slices per pack

Salami - Napoli Block
The Napoli is air dried for three months in the Austrian Alps to bring out the spicy flavors. This hard salami has a little bit of a spice kick and while I'm sure that it’s good in many things, I've never been able to try because we eat it "as-is" usually within a half hour of carving the first slice.

Spek Sliced 100gm
The greatest Alpine product since snow. Spek is cured ham that is then smoked and aged for months. During this process it shrinks by over 50% and the flavors get wonderfully concentrated. These slices are so thin you can see through them and they melt in your mouth. Spek goes great with fruits like melon, it can also turn a cheese sandwich into bistro fair. This stuff is so good it can even make tofu tasty!

Milano Salami Sliced 100gm
Our milano salami is mild enough that even kids like it, but tasty enough that it is on the menu at some of the best Restaurants in Japan. This salami has been cured and then fermented before aging. The fermentation gives it a complex flavor; a little bit sweet, even a little citric, that makes it go great with cheese or in a salad.

A great deal on a big pack of sliced Parma Ham, the real stuff, from Italy. This is one of the tastiest sliced hams I've tried. It's easy to use, each super-thin slice (less than 1 mm) is separated by a plastic sheet so you can peel them apart. This is a big package, normally you see this in high-end gourmet stores in 70 gram packs for the same price.

Picnic Ham - Bone-in Skin-on Smoked
This is a beautiful natural ham from the shoulder. It comes on the bone (which in some countries they call off the bone) either way, there is a bone inside the ham. It also has the skin-on for great cracklin' should you wish to roast it. It can be eaten as-is or you can glaze it and warm it in the oven or on the grill.

Savory Smoked Sliced Bacon
More great bacon, this one has been cured and smoked and partially cooked. To make this bacon come out perfectly you should do a bit more than just chuck it in the frying pan. Bacon has layers of meat and fat that contract at different rates when they are cooked. This causes it to crinkle up so parts of it aren't in contact with the pan. They don't get fully cooked but other parts come out burned. To fix this, take another pan (wash the bottom well) and place it on top of the bacon strips while you cook them. Bacon also cooks evenly and crispy in the microwave or the toaster oven.
