This is our category for all of our most special products, sometimes distinguished by price, sometimes by newness, and sometimes we just want you to notice them so they can find a new home. Check back often.

We make great tasting things, more and more all the time. Every item in the section was born in the kitchen of The Meat Guy and you won't find anything better, anywhere. We use gnomes in our workshop whenever possible! Also, nearly all of these items are free of any artificial ingredients or preservatives, just natural goodness and love. We don't use bread crumbs in our sausages so you can put away the jam, good news for Celiac sufferers. Exceptions: some of the sausages may have a prepared substance as one of the ingredients, for example, the Andoullicous Sausages have bacon in them and the bacon has some preservatives; also, the sauces are manufactured off-site for bottling and they have preservatives.

Because we think that grilling is the highest form of food preparation, we've even tried moving the grill from the deck to the kitchen during the colder months--it would have worked out fine if old Mr. Carbon-Monoxide-Sleepy Head hadn't kept on paying us a visit! So spark up a fire(outside), and start grilling!

Grilling may be the most noble form of cooking, but roasting certainly comes in a close second! There's just something about cooking up a big ol' hunk o meat that makes you feel good. I love the smell of a roast in the oven, they should sell car air-fresheners that smell like Sunday Roast.

New Zealand is home to some of the best food on the planet. Quality standards are extremely high and food safety is some of the best I've ever seen. The natural environment is pristine, a perfect place to produce perfect goodness.

There is a reason why American Beef is famous, when it is good, it has the perfect balance of marbling, tenderness, and a rich flavor that has rarely been duplicated anywhere else. We have some of the best that you can find in Japan.

As an American cowboy it is not easy for me to admit this, but Australian beef is really good. And you can't beat the price! I handle both grain-fed and grass-fed Ozzy beef of the highest quality. It's not always as tender, nor as marbled, as US beef, but it has a great flavor! This being our largest beef category, we also tend to put some products from other countries in here as well, that's why you might find New Zealand Steaks, or Mexican tripe in here.

The finest lamb from New Zealand and Australia.... Well, mostly from Australia. Our lamb meat comes from happy lambs, raised with loving care. Lamb is one of the most natural meats we sell. Most Australian and New Zealand lamb is raised organically: open range, hormone-free, etc. However, because it is not certified as "organic", (a process that takes loads of time and money!), I'm not allowed to tell you that it "might be" organic--best to forget I ever mentioned it.

We've got the best cuts of pork you can find anywhere, literally from head to tail! Because we go through a LOT of pork, so specifications change a lot as our suppliers run out of inventory, so while you might not get exactly the same thing every time, you will get something GREAT each time!

Top-knotch veal from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. All of our veal is raised in a humane manner, and as tasty as can be. We've got the best veal, if you want veal, you should buy our veal, because it is the best, anywhere.

The best chicken at the best prices! The greatest thing about chickens is that they have wings, and to those wings you can add The Meat Guy's Naked Wing Sauce, and then you will have a dish fit for Kings!

Place your holiday orders early, because these turkeys sell out fast. We carry many sizes year round, but our main inventory arrives each year in from late October to mid November. But you can reserve a turkey for delivery anytime down the road. We accept advance orders for delivery dates all the way up until June 14th, 2014 (we have it on good information that the world will be ending then), for delivery after that date we need cash in advance....
We sell a very large quantity of turkeys and at times the brand or specification might change slightly.
Remember, a large turkey may take several days to thaw, so plan your delivery accordingly.

Feeling a little challenged in the oven department? We've got the solution for you. Order your turkey from us, we'll send it to one of our kitchen partners, they will cook it for you, maybe even add some side dishes, and you can pick it up and tell everyone that you did it yourself. Just order your bird, then choose the location you'd like to pick it up from below. When you checkout let us know when and what time you'd like to come get it. We need at least four business days notice to allow for thawing and shipping. Also, there is limited space in the ovens so some dates or times might not be available (we'll be updating the information for each site regularly). Once you've ordered and we've confirmed everything, we'll send you a voucher to present at the pick-up location and they will give you your turkey.

A great selection of hard to find meats! We are constantly adding to our selection and hope to have the largest variety of meats you can find anywhere (in keeping with the whole "Meat Guy" theme). The cool thing about these items is that, in addition to spicing up the variety to your menu, many of them are also natural and organic, as well as sustainable. Sometimes even surprisingly tasty!

Kangaroo is bouncing up the charts! It’s superhealthy, tasty, sustainable and environmentally sound-–perfect for the crunchy carnivore. It’s also wild, which means no hormones, no antibiotics, no chemicals--it would be "organic" but, then the roos would have to be caught and kept on an organically-certified meadow or some-such, and then they would cease to be wild, so that would kind of defeat the purpose. Many believe that kangaroos are the perfect caretakers of the great Australian outback, because they have these big padded feet that don’t trample the native grasses, unlike the hooves of introduced species such as cattle, sheep, and rugby players! We really like this idea so we import these products directly, ourselves, which means we have more in inventory than we would like, so please buy lots!

We have a fabulous line-up of sausages and we are quickly becoming expert sausage makers. All of our house-made sausages (those we call "The Meat Guy" brand or "Original") are made using all-natural ingredients. We don't use any nitrates or artificial preservatives or colorings. We do, occasionally, add something for flavoring that has some artificial ingredients, but only in very small quantities. We've listed the ingredients on the product pages if you have any questions.

All the fixin’s for sandwiches or just munchies to have with beer and wine. We have the tastiest cured meats you can find, and when we can't get exactly what we want, we make it ourselves. There is more bacon here than you can shake a stick at, depending, of course, on the stick!

Because there just ain't nothin' that doesn't go better with a little bit of bacon! We're pretty sure that bacon is the secret to eternal youth and happiness. Bacon rules!

More cheeses coming soon! We are in the process of giving our cheese selection a complete overhaul, some of the sold out items will be replaced with better versions and we will be adding LOTS of new cheeses that we import directly.

This category is a bit wide and we'd like to give you some choices. In Japan, only JAS Certified Organic products can be called "Organic", that means that the same item from Europe or North America, regardless of how strict their standards may be, can't be "organic" without the JAS mark. We sell a lot of items that are oganic in nature, but not in certificate, we've put them in this category. We've also put in a few items that are "natural"--close to "organic" but not quite. Items that we think are worth a close look by anyone with "organics" on their mind. We try and give you as much information as we have, if you need more, please ask!

We do our best to provide quality Halal products. These products are not always in stock as Halal, so it is best to indicate in the comments section of your checkout that you would prefer Halal only. Unfortunately, there is no real standard for what can be classified as Halal, so we try and give you as much information as possible so that you can decide for yourself. If you have questions, please let us know and we'll try and answer to the best of our ability.
